What's your deepest fear?

[This is a response to the Character Quiz posed by Kerry during the character creation phase of the game. If you are a player in the game I ask that you do not read this unless explicitly directed to do so as this is personal character information. Thanks! Everyone else, read on...]

Being trapped and helpless, unable to save someone I love. I have relived the nightmare of Athanasia's death. And in my nightmares I see myself unable to save Deirdre, or at times even Corwin. I have dreamed myself drowned, and buried, and merely trapped caught up in chains. All the while seeing the ones I care about torn away with me reaching futilely for them.

Describe the perfect day.

Perfection is, of course, something rarely, if ever, achieved. If this sounds peaceful that is because when I think perfection, I think peace, and of all the things I love.

I would wake in the morning with Deirdre curled next to me, and together we would ready for the day and then join the other women of the clan for Movement. After that, fervent practice in the yards, until we both must call it quits. Teaching the others comes during that time as well.

Back to the house again for some quiet time together, with the warm bath and scrubbing each others' backs. A sensual, intense time together.

Exploring, riding, traveling after that. To make it perfect, upon our arrival home we find that Corwin is there, greeting us with a smile again. He brings new songs to teach and to sing, and we stay up late with drink and stories.

It is a simple day, but then, life can be simple at times.

Derivation: Scandinavian

And no, that wasn't planned. Didn't look it up until yesterday, long after she was developed.

Affirmation

(c) Savage Garden

I believe in love surviving death into eternity

I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned
I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side
I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye
