Known History:

Chris graduated from RPI in 1994, graduating within 4 years despite completing 3 co-ops with Fibrodyne Technology. After graduation he began work with Fibrodyne in the R&D area.

He met his wife Lisa Stirling at Fibrodyne and they were married in June, 1996. They have one child, a daughter, born February 25, 1999, named Jordan.

Knight quickly climbed the corporate ladder of Fibrodyne, and in May, 2000 he left to form Knight Industries, located in the Rensselaer Technical Park. He soon relocated to the new Harriman Technical Park (the former state offices). Knight Industries is known as a premiere defense contractor for research & development, predominantly within the US and Canada, but has also branched into manufacturing. They have the largest concentration R&D scientists in the world (a mantle recently taken from GE CR&D).

Knight Industries is a publicly traded company as of 2006. It is known that Chris is searching for a new President of the firm so that he may continue as Chairman of the Board and concentrate the hands-on R&D that he prefers.

Chris Knight and his family reside in Schodack, NY.
