Character Creation

Character creation in Superworld is a strange mix of die rolls (yes, you begin by rolling up a part of your character) and choices. I expect characters to be thought through and themed. Your character does not have to be perfect on all fronts -- weaknesses are not only allowed, they are expected.

Communication Conventions

Even though this isn't a PBEM, there will be a good part of communications carried out electronically. Therefore I'd like to set out a few guidelines so that things don't get lost in the shuffle.

UPDATE: Is anyone else besides me getting two copies of the notifications I'm sending out? And if you aren't receiving notifications, please make sure I've got a definite confirmation that you are playing and your preferred email address. Thanks!

Gaming with Deb

"Entertain the GM and she will entertain you in return"

I view gaming as a collective experience. I am not doing all the work, but I don't expect you to do it all either. However, I also expect that I'm certainly going to be providing you with plots and hooks and working off the hooks you provide me in your character. And I expect that you will be reacting to stimuli and perhaps creating situations of your own as well.

In other words, we're writing this together. I'm the director, but I want the players to be an active part of the story. I am more than happy to shift plot to react to the characters.
