Session 3 -- GM Description

The session began just after the Friday night meeting broke up, with the return of the player characters to the hotel in NYC.

The session concluded with the characters all in Schenectady NY, shortly before the "end of summer" party at Janelle VanKemp's house.

These notes are presented in a more detail oriented style than story style since I'm late getting them up. I just wanted to make sure that all the facts that I noted were said were recorded somewhere.

Invitation (OOC)

Welcome to Mask of the Innocent, a Dark Supers game.

You are cordially invited to join a Dark Supers game running monthly. Each month we will confirm the next month’s date and select the date for the following month. If, after reading this invitation and the website, you do wish to play, please respond by Friday August 16, 2002, to d-singer@hall-of-mirrors.com with three possible weekend dates (Saturday or Sunday) that you would be available to play within the next 4-5 weeks. Once I have a complete cast list, I will be sending out the chosen date (obviously, I’d like to get everyone there the first session) and we will be getting ready to play.

Invitation

Congratulations!!

The enclosed key is to a suite in the HarborView hotel in New York City. The room is yours for the week of August 11th. Please enjoy our hospitality and venture to New York for a week long vacation.

At the end of the week you are cordially invited to attend a fete. You will receive more information, including a map to the locatin, during the course of your stay. There are no other planned functions -- please simply enjoy the wonders of the City.

Why have you been selected? You are special, and we recognize that uniqueness. We understand that at times you may have felt that no one out there understood, no one out there knew what you have gone through these past few years. And we wish to assure you that there are those who *do* know, and *do* understand. And that there is a place you can go to ask your questions and to find a way to use that uniqueness to your advantage?

Curious? Good. We will see you in New York.
